Teachers teaching future teachers
Oct. 24, 2009

Tory Christensen leads a group of about 20 high school students in song with The Monster Under My Bed on Friday during one of three break-out sessions at the eighth annual Teachers Teaching Future Teachers Conference at Washington State University Tri-Cities in Richland. About 100 students spent the day learning what it takes to be a teacher. Christensen, a WSU alumnus and Hanford High School counselor, writes and performs songs to start kids young on music with positive messages, and showed the aspiring teachers how to use music in their future lesson plans as a way to get students involved.

Tory Christensen – Wiggle Like a Fish Review - 8/19/08

We welcomed "Wiggle Like a Fish" to the City of Everett’s children’s concert series in August. I had been looking forward to seeing Tory and Wiggles since I discovered them online and booked them early in spring. We were all delighted by Tory’s charming, encouraging, playful songs, and his good rapport with the kids. "Wiggle Like a Fish" is truly a family affair, and they are easy-going and neat people. Plus, "Wiggles" is the cutest fish-friend anyone could ask for. What a fun, heart-warming experience!

"Wiggle Like a Fish" by Tory Christensen

Reviewed in Playdate Magazine DEC 07/JAN 08 Issue

"Richland father Tory Christensen's "Wiggle Like a Fish" is feel-good country folk that sends the grumpies packing and encourages kids to practice good manners - thankfully without shrill voices or annoying preaching. It's the kind of music you don't mind having stuck in your head, lending a wink of hope that the song's positive messages also might stick with your kids ..."
